Flow Yoga
Focuses on the combination of movement with breathing. It is a type of Vinyasa Yoga where asanas flow quickly and fluidly, and is a physically demanding class. It stresses awareness of the body, its strength and flexibility. It’s one of the most popular yoga types in Europe and America.
Flow yoga Basic: for all that are new to yoga or wish a more gentle approach at the practice.
Flow yoga: for all that already know our method/practice, and want some new challenges and a more fluid class.
Flow yoga Focus: this classes have a monthly focus on an asana theme – balancing asanas / hand-balances / twists etc. In which we go deeper exploring different possibilities of the practice. This classes are not for absolute beginners.
Flow yoga Restorative: a gentler practice in which you will learn to relax and renew your energy/mind/body potential. There are more pranayamas (breathing techniques), longer relaxation and meditation in this restorative class.
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
Represents one of the most intensive, athletic forms of yoga practice.
Guru of Ashtanga Vinyasa is Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (1915-2009), who learned yoga from Krishnamachary – the father of yoga as we know it today.
The workout consists of a fixed sequence of asanas and vinyasas (primary series), that, together with Ujjayi breath, has a strong detoxifying effect on the body. You will gain power that comes from within. Ashtanga Vinyasa is the perfec meditation in motion.
Practice and all is coming!
–> The opening mantra at Ashtanga Vinyasa practice
The following is an explanation of some common terms / principles:
Ujjayi breath – during practice we breathe through our nose, using a special breathing technique (pranayama) that additionally warms and detoxifies the body.
Vinyasa – “nyasa” means “to move, “vi” means “in a special manner”. It’s a flowing, free movement when the body and breath are connected.
Yoga – means the unification, connection of diverse principles.
Om – is a mantra (sound) representing the universe. It calms the body and the spirit.
Bandha – is an energy barrier created by contracting our muscles.
Trishtana – three points of focus: asana, pranayama and drishti.
Pilates
Activates inactive groups of deep muscles, helping us achieve a better body posture and well-formed, toned muscles.
We use mental focusing and control of the body to develop the muscles of the pelvic floor, as well as the abdominal and back muscles, helping them develop into a Centre of Power. This improves the body’s flexibility as well as our awareness and control of the body; furthermore, the training is up-graded with yoga stretching and relaxation on the end of the class. Pilates alleviates pain in the spine and improves the overall quality of live.
These classes are suitable for anybody who wants to become more aware of their body and to improve their life.
The Franklin Method©

Is more than just exercise. It’s a way of working with one’s body that takes into consideration our body structure and uses imagination to discover healthy ways of movement. Imaginary pictures based on anatomy and biomechanics facilitate the learning of new patterns of movement. The more flexible we are, the more creative our minds become. Experiential anatomy is not about trite knowledge but rather about increasing our understanding and awareness of our bodies. It teaches the individual what’s good for them and what isn’t, helping them better observe and listen to themselves.
Classes focus on making ourselves aware of incorrect habits of movement and posture, and teach us to relax our habitual tensions and to discover or start feeling “new” muscles. The aim is to improve flexibility and to expand the awareness of our bodies. Also the power of “core” muscles will be incresed, our coordination, and our trust in our own bodies. The classes consist of strengthening exercises with a rubber band, balance and stability exercises, simple dance sequences … The classes are suitable for individuals of any age.
